Zulu Black Sweet Pepper - Heirloom 15 seeds

The Zulu Pepper (Capsicum annuum) comes to us from Poland. The plant produces almost jet-black (actually dark purple) bell pepper type fruits that ripen eventually to dark red. But the fruity flavor is still present with either color. However, there is fruitier flavor when red. The unique thing is the Zulu pepper has just a touch of spiciness to it. The Zulu chile pepper is great for roasting, stuffing, frying, salads and fresh salsa. The Zulu chile plants are very productive and grow just over 2 feet tall. They will require some staking as they bear very heavy peppers.
