Santa Fe Grande chilli, also known as Guero hot chili pepper has slightly sweet taste and are fairly mild in pungency. This medium sized attractive open pollinated variety produce loads of medium hot about 2 1/2 inches long and matures from pale yellow to a bright orange/fiery red. Plants are highly prolific producing 20-50 chili peppers.

The peppers have a slightly sweet taste and are about the same heat as a Jalapeno (5000 to 8000 scoville heat units) and are delicious fresh, and also perfect for pickling.

Seeds appear to be healthy, but I didn't try to sprout them yet. Seller took care to package them very beautiful handwriting and with hanging tags attached as well. Thankyou.
