Lakota Winter Squash

This is a squash derived from a variety with history far more ancient than your standard heirloom. This variety was developed and cultivated by the Lakota Tribe of the Sioux Nation and may have been planted alongside corn and beans in the classic companion planting arrangement known as “Three Sisters”. Its dense sweet flesh has a subtle nutty aroma.

Very quick shipping, cute packaging and my lakota squash are already sprouting! Thank you for the quality seeds! We will be purchasing from this shop in the future!

I love trying out new or really unusual Heirloom seeds and this will be my one for the year. Thank you for offering such a unique seed. I faster shipping.

seeds are here, cute package, marked for 2022, but too late to plant them now. Have grown these before and love this squash. Have limited room, but a few will do us for the year. So into the fridge go the seeds and will get some planted early next year. Thanks.

Excellent Item! Quality, Packed well, Shipped Fast, Highly Recommend to All!

Of the 10 seeds I was sent, 9 are already visably through the soil, a few are already almost 2" tall. Mvto! It is still below freezing here most nights, so they are just in the sun in my kitchen for now, but I am very excited to see how they grow!
