Indeterminate – The must have beefsteak for the northern growers. Heavy yields with cold hardiness unlike other tomatoes. From Russia, this variety can withstand temperatures in the low 40’s, and although it may not fruit well, it won’t die like all other tomato varieties will. Small seed cavities makes this tomato easy to turn into paste, use on salads, or any other uses you would use tomatoes for. Start seeds indoors 5-8 weeks before last spring frost in a sunny, warm location in pots or flats. Transplant to a sunny, well drained location in the late spring when the plants are about 5-12 inches tall. Excellent source of Vitamins: A, & C
