Prized for their delectably creamy texture and sweet taste, these beloved Southern cowpeas beans have developed a loyal following among chefs. Although these have a short growing season, they produce heavy yields. Lady peas have xclusive availability in Southern states, so they can be notoriously hard to find.
Drought-tolerant and will grow in almost all soils. 5 ft. vines produce extended harvests of 7-9 in green pods. Good eaten green or dried.
